I love your interpretation of a still life. We have such a variety of interpretations in this challenge. I find it interesting what everyone is coming up with. Thanks for joining in~

Great shot. I'm glad I was enjoying a bowl of hot soup when it came up on my screen. Brrr.

I wish I had that bowl of hot soup that Clyde was having while looking at this photo!

And a few weeks ago I was whining that I didn't get any photos of icicles and now I'm whining that it's not warm enough!

Thanks for sharing and making me shiver even more. :-)

Hmmm...forget the hot soup, Monica...I'll take that hot fudge cake thingy Clyde posted as his entry. :) Anyway, this is a great interpretation, as Marie said--very still and VERY chilly! I like how you edged it, too, Jill.

Vicki's going to have to split that chocolate fudge thingy with me.

You really captured the feeling of environment. BRRRRRRRR.

This is a neat shot - they are huge icicles! I wouldn't want to be standing under one of them when they start to melt.

I love your icicles! I agree with Marie, it's really interesting to see peoples interpretation of the subject. I also love your header photos! Jeannette xx

JILL, I WENT THROUGH YOUR 'MEMORIES' UP TO JANUARY 13 2009, BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS.
THE ICE CYCLES REMINDED ME OF A HAPPENING SEVERAL YEARS AGO.
WHILE UNDER THE
'EAVE' OF A BUILDING SOME ICECYCLES FELL AND STRUCK MY BALD HEAD, NO HAT ON, HAD EYE PAIN A COUPLE MONTHS AND HAPPY TO HAVE NO VISION PROBLEMS.
THANK GOD FOR WATCHING OVER ME 24/7 FOR SO MANY HEALTHY YEARS.
I AM CERTAIN THAT HE IS WATCHING OVER ME THOUGH LAST OCTOBER I HAD A STROKE THAT KEPT ME IN CARE CENTERS A COUPLE MONTHS AND NOW BACK TO MY APARTMENT WHERE WHEN GETTING BACK HERE I EXCLAIMED, 'THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME', CAN WALK USING A 4 LEGGED WALKER. PRAISE HIS NAME. sam
